The less you do to it, the better it is, usually!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 ripe avocados
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- lemon & lime juice (to taste)
Optional
- A few splashes of hot sauce
- A few slices of pickled jalapeño, diced
- 1-2 tsp minced onion
METHOD
- Place avocados, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add a few small squirts of lime and lemon juice and blend with immersion blender.
- Lemon and lime juice will help preserve the avocados and prevent oxidation (turning brown) but make sure to taste the guacamole before adding more juice.
- Transfer to a Tupperware and place a layer of plastic wrap directly on top of the guacamole. Reducing the amount of air in the Tupperware will help against oxidation.
