The less you do to it, the better it is, usually!

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • lemon & lime juice (to taste)


Optional

  • A few splashes of hot sauce
  • A few slices of pickled jalapeño, diced
  • 1-2 tsp minced onion


METHOD

  1. Place avocados, garlic, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add a few small squirts of lime and lemon juice and blend with immersion blender.
  2. Lemon and lime juice will help preserve the avocados and prevent oxidation (turning brown) but make sure to taste the guacamole before adding more juice.
  3. Transfer to a Tupperware and place a layer of plastic wrap directly on top of the guacamole. Reducing the amount of air in the Tupperware will help against oxidation.
